Kim Lynch trained as a painter at the National Gallery of Victoria School of Art, played bass in the Loved Ones and the Red Onion Jazz Band and later took on freelance illustration as a livelihood before embracing the PIXEL in 1988 when he plunged into the world of multimedia.
His animation and digital artwork is built upon a foundation of traditional training in fine art practice and printmaking.
His work has appeared in books, magazines, newspapers, posters, film, television, multimedia and the net.
Some samples below of web animations. The manic machine was originally an old fashioned GIF animation, probably one of the first to appear in Australia back in 1995.
